Our Family

 

Hello, I am Ansen Pond. My wife, Kellie, and I would like to welcome you to our family ranch website. We are very proud to carry on the family tradition of raising high quality beef the right way. We are even more excited to pass down this tradition to our children, Kennedy, Harrison and Wesley. Kellie and I feel we have a responsibility to teach the next generation to respect these animals that give us so much. We are also dedicated to living a healthy life and hope you experience the value our beef products offer.

 

Our headquarters is located in a beautiful area of Moore County, Texas. Our family settled in Moore County in 1875, a year before the county was established. We have always focused on raising high quality beef, and we are proud that tradition still exists.

Besides the long family tradition of raising cattle in Moore County, Texas, I am also a third generation Ph.D. in Animal Science. My father and grandfather hold Ph.Ds in Animal Science and are well established in animal agriculture. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University and a Masters and doctoral degree from Texas Tech University, where my focus was Food Safety. My background and education in food safety, meat quality, ranching and animal health helps make our family ranch very unique.
